My 23rd Birthday.

Nope, I did not get wasted. I did, however, spent the day with my fam bam. San Jose’s the destination.
There’s a quite a few places to cover:

↑Phone numbers and possible alternatives scattered across the page.

To help you visualize the schedule better, I asked Google for help:

↑The “Big Dip” much?

First stop:

↑Weather: Sunny. To squeeze the most of the sun, we planned a series of outdoor locations. But it’s only as good as the snacks we bring, so we swung by “Paris Baguette”, where they offer delectable breads if not the most mouth watering.

What was he peeking?

Exactly this:

Wipe yo-self.

Quick lunch – Korean food.

mmm.

Next stop: Municipal Rose Garden.

↑Fail on me – it’s not even the rose season. Though, they did have fresh air and plenty of sunshine.

↑Just hangin’

Parents were sassy (mainly my dad.)

↑Picture on the right’s my all time favorite – Dad was a moose. word?

Miles, one of the volunteers at the rose garden, gave us a couple of rose planting tips. 40 minutes worth of tips. It was easy to see his passion for gardening. And that’s actually how you point out someone’s passion – discover the topic that the person just can’t shut up about – but sometime’s disappointing because the topic might just be “judging other people” for some folks. You know what Eleanor Roosevelt said, “Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people.”

↑ Without them, there’d be no me.

↑Just climbin’

3rd stop – The Tech Museum of Innovation:

We checked out their current “Body World Vital” exhibit, but no photography allowed. Fun and all, I did find the museum itself 500 times more entertaining than the exhibit.

Surgery performing kit.

↑Actual size.

Moving on – Heritage Rose Garden. Not for the roses, but for the planes. Planes?! you ask.

Exactly:

↑They look a lot closer in person. It was pretty awesome to see a 125,00 lb metal soar across the sky. right. above. your. head.

Quick stop at Michelle’s favorite tapioca shop:

Dinner at QQ noodle:

Stay true to our root, Chinese food to wrap up the day.

↑Michelle made me a Canon cake. That’s right.

Turning 23 felt surreal – mainly because I still behave like a kid. It marked another year, time to strive harder to make the next year memorable.

’til next time,
