100 Restaurants Challenge – Little Lucca + Movie

Can’t get enough of these restaurants. This time we tried “little Lucca” from South SF.

Even when I wake up around 9 nowadays, I still manage to leave late and arrive at restaurants at their peak time. Waiting, after a couple of these restaurant hunts, has became my expertise.

Little Lucca! Heard MANY great things about it. Location:
724 El Camino Real
South San Francisco, CA 94080

It’s a super small (sorta like IKE’s) restaurant with no dining table inside, but has a open backyard for people who’d like to eat the sandwich right away. I saw many to-gos.

I didn’t do much research before our arrival, in fact, I only got their address. ha.

↑From the looks of it, and the signs on their walls, this was one of their OG attention catcher – the lucca’s garlic sauce.

↑Like most American sandwich places, the sandwiches are made right in front of ya.

Of course, there’s always a line.

My first time seeing this “Dutch Crunch” roll. Super good.

↑Pretty heavy, too.

I got this Fire Roasted Steak, the chef there told me it’s his favorite.

Michelle got first bite.

↑Look at the juice of that thing. It was DELICIOUS. But I personally like IKE’s better. Perhaps because I was hungrier while waiting at IKE’s(?). Nonetheless, it was an epic sandwich.

Michelle go the Ultimate Club sandwich.

↑Basic sandwich, still ver’ nice. The taste wasn’t as heavy as the Fire Roasted Steak and wasn’t as juicy. Hence, this be good for take out/save it for later type deal.

Though, it took about 20 minutes drive from Sunset, SF. It was well worth it, I’d go back any day.

Movie time.

I love movies, but not a big movie review guy, so check its reviews here. Plus, you’ve already made you decision whether or not to watch it regardless of what I’d say. Anyway, Justin Timberlake’s dam good at playing a douche.

Michelle’s a mermaid. That’s a wrap.
